This is a semi-speed painting I did a couple months back. I got inspired after I bought the Art of Open Season book. I completed it in PS CS2 with a wacom tablet using a couple reference photos for color and texture ideas. It took me around 4 hours. This is a piece I did for Ecko Clothing company at Heavenspot. It is the end resolve of a 5 second animation. Everything was done in Maya, rendered with mental ray and post done in Combustion. The textures on the logo were hand painted in Photoshop. The commercial was rendered in HD. Done at Heavenspot. Animation can be seen here:
